Attractions worth a visit in the town include Athlone Castle, The Luan Gallery. You can also explore the ancient ruins of Clonmacnoise. And, as the town is located by the banks of the River Shannon, there is a range of outdoor activities to enjoy from fishing to cruises on the river. Our bed and breakfast is situated on the R446 close to the Cross river. We cater for Golfers, Anglers, Walkers and Cyclists Tea/Coffee on arrival. Private garden for guests use. From Galway take exit 13 of the motorway, and follow the sign for Athlone thru 1st roundabout, and follow sign for Ballydangan. thru 2nd and 3rd roundabouts, we are 500 mtrs on the left. R446.
From Dublin take exit 13 of the motorway and follow the sign for Ballydangan @ 1st and 2nd roundabouts, we are 500 mtrs on the left .R446.
