 At Riverview Bed and Breakfast in Athlone, you can be sure of a warm welcome and kind hospitality from your hosts ‘The Corbett Family’. We are Irish Tourist Board approved with 4* classification  and Michelin guide recommended. The B&B is not far from shops, restaurants and bars, so you can enjoy good food, drink, entertainment and shopping. We are only 2 minute drive to the M6 motorway to Dublin and Galway.  Attractions worth a visit in the town include Athlone Castle, The Luan Gallery.  You can also explore  the ancient ruins of Clonmacnoise. And, as the town is located by the banks of the River Shannon, there is a range of outdoor activities to enjoy from fishing to cruises on the river.  From Galway take exit 13 of the motorway, and follow the sign for Athlone thru 1st roundabout, and follow sign for  Ballydangan. thru 2nd and 3rd roundabouts, we are 500 mtrs on the left.  R446.

From Dublin take exit 13 of the motorway and follow the sign for Ballydangan @ 1st and 2nd roundabouts, we are 500 mtrs on the left .R446.
